The client has several product offerings, each of which is supported on hundreds of different combinations of hardware and software platforms. By making changes to Oracle Configurator and minor tweaks to the Financials, Order Management, and Customer Service applications, as well as developing a new multi-dimensional module structure to allow for the complex combinations, ESG was able to provide a system that supported staggered releases of new software versions, reduced the product release process and model maintenance, and greatly improve the user order/quote experience.
