When a DC-based non-profit founded to oversee SOX compliance needed to overhaul its HR system, it came to ESG. So did an educational non-profit when they decided to upgrade both their Financials and HR systems.
Many non-profits rely on external funding - government funds, grants, donations - and are operated by volunteers, paid staff or a combination of the two. Additionally, non-profits may have members, participants, students and/or beneficiaries. The end result? Many complex processes such as time collection, labor dilution requirements, revenue recognition, contract issues, and multiple contract types.
ESG delivered a self-service PeopleSoft HCM system to one non-profit, helping them realize their full potential by increasing their internal HR capabilities. Payroll was converted from ADP to its in-house PeopleSoft Payroll system. In addition, they now successfully process a totally paperless Open Enrollment.
Another non-profit was facing challenges as it increased its product offerings as well as its global footprint. It needed a system to support its significant base of cost plus contracts, while still needing the flexibility to support a growing base of fixed-fee contracts.
ESG was brought in to implement PeopleSoft HCM and Financials to align the non-profit's internal systems and business processes to allow for growth and provide them with the flexibility to analyze its cost structure. (needs some more info on what was done)
