Oracle OpenWorld is the world's largest information technology event dedicated to helping enterprises understand how to harness the power of information. ESG’s Sean McGuire, VP, Oracle Practice, and Raj Sundaram both presented at this year’s Oracle OpenWorld.

Sean McGuire spoke with a client as part of a panel discussion on Standardizing Your Accounting for non-ERP systems. Their portion of the discussion was focused on implementing the Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), including the business objectives they were trying to achieve, the implementation approach, the lessons learned and the benefits achieved.

ESG's Raj Sundaram also teamed with a client to present to an invite-only FAH Focus group. Attendees were required to already be using FAH or have interest in implementing FAH at their company. Their presentation was a much more detailed explanation of an FAH implementation including the architecture, process, application models, journal pass through and extensions.
