ESG Presents at Circuit DC 2010 Print
Tuesday, 26 October 2010 00:00

ESG's Bill Webb will be presenting Recommendations for Deploying Oracle Applications Following OMB Guidelines at the Circuit 2010 Conference in Washington DC on November 10, 2010.

Federal agencies implementing or upgrading Oracle applications or considering new IT initiatives are faced with new challenges in light of the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) recent memorandum entitled, "Immediate Review of High-Risk Financial Systems IT Projects." Mr. Webb's session will provide real world examples of how federal agencies can formulate strategies for minimizing risks outlined in the OMB memorandum including executing incremental plans, leveraging Oracle's Business Flows Accelerators, deploying Oracle Technology using Oracle's standard methods including AIM and PJM, and migrating to Oracle On-Demand to minimize infrastructure risks.

The session will provide you with an update on OMB's progress to-date in implementing its recent recommendations, provide realistic and practical strategies for addressing OMB's requirements, and it will discuss how to leverage Oracle methods and tools for minimizing the risks outlined by OMB.
