ESG's Vice President, PeopleSoft Practice, Ray DeMarco presented during Oracle's Open World 2006 Conference in San Francisco. Ray led a 60 minute session entitled Oracle Industry Solutions: Government Contracting. The presentation focused on the challenges presented by government contracting industry characteristics and drivers, including Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) compliance, resource management, timekeeping and expense (JTR compliance), reporting, revenue recognition, contract types, billing and billing formats, and unbilled receivables. Ray also participated in a roundtable discussion on the benefits of Oracle solutions in the Government Contracting space with representatives from the industry and other consulting firms.
