ESG Awarded Contract to Implement PeopleSoft CRM at Arbitron FAIRFAX, VA–August 28, 2003–Arbitron has awarded Enterprise Solutions Group a contract to design, develop, deploy, and support its "IBIS" system. Arbitron is seeking to improve business processes, reporting, and analysis related to the acquisition and retention of customers across all of its business units. The new system will also enhance Arbitron's capability to meet regulatory reporting requirements.
The implementation will use PeopleSoft software, and it will consist of its Sales Force Automation, Contracts, Billing, Order Fulfillment, Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger, Call Center, Portal, and Self-Serve modules. Arbitron conducts business in offices throughout the United States, Europe, and Mexico and has recently expanded into Japan. For purposes of this project, the work effort will take place primarily in Columbia, Maryland. All Arbitron organizational units will be involved. Arbitron selected ESG as its implementation partner because of ESG's solid reputation as a leading PeopleSoft partner, and because of the company's broad-based skills across financial and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
